Demon electric choke question

In step 8 you install that spring with the endplate, i've done that and i'm not sure where to attach the hook part of the spring. Right now i have it on the bottom of the first endplate.I have the straight part of the spring on the second endplate you put on in the notch to the right. The directions are hard to understand and the pictures are fuzzy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you are looking at our printed instructions they are a little fuzzy. If you look on our website there are some better pics in the instructions that are in the tech support section but it sounds like you have it in the right location based on your description.

The "hook" does go on the first endplate closest to the baseplate itself with the end of the hook pointed in the same direction as the straight part. The end of the straight part will rest in the notch on the second endplate part.

I agree, I keep a carb here beside the desk just to answer choke questions since there are so many small parts. Sometimes peoples descriptions are a little hard to decipher but we can usually describe the look, shape and color of the part and get them headed in the right direction.
