Dents

Hey, I have a '90 Astro van that I am starting to do body work to. There are a few dents that I can not get behind to pop. What would be the best way to get them out?

I was thinking I could get a rivit gun and put a rivit in the dent and pull the dent out.

What do you guys think?

Thanks a lot.

re: Dents

You could try getting a slide hammer, or if you have a welder handy you could take a metal rod and weld it in the center of the dent and give it a good pull . I personally take off the panel if i can and take a dead blow hammer, a shot bag, or hammer and heel dolly to it.
