Well, you know, I understood the question and my answer was "in a word, no". But I have to tell you, it depends on what your expectations are, your patience, and the dent. You "could" slowly massage the thing out I assume. I failed when I have tried it, but I guess it's possible.

I saw a fellow make an acceptable, to him anyway, dent repair in a chrome bumper by placing a piece of hardwood on each side of the dent then using a heavy C-clamp he pressed most of the dent out. He then placed soft shims under the edges of the outside piece of wood then with the inside piece still against the "bump" side of the dent he slightly over bent it so that when he relaxed the pressure it returned to pretty much flat, not absolutely perfect but not bad either. If your chrome is not already damaged this might be worth a try.
