Desert Newbie

Hello all,
Please welcome a newbie to this board, but not to hotrodding and racing. My passion is high performance and drag racing. My latest project is a nostalgia front engine rail I built in my home shop. I'm a heavy duty industrial mechanic by trade and a novice machinist on the week-ends. I look forward to the shared information and tremendous knowledge base this board offers.
Thanks for having me.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of racers here. mostly street rodders, but it's a good site. You might want to go here for a bunch of nostalgia racers, if someone here can't answer a question. What ever you do, keep us posted on your progress. I spend most of my time on a couple of Pontiac sites, but I come here quite often.
Here's my nostalgia car:

Good to see you here, Merlin. I've extended an invitation to WD, he says it's a loooonggg way to Bakersfield tho. The Famoso track has nostalgia drags at least 4 times a year, come on out. we have a few members I've met there. Stick around, there's a lot of good people here.
