Design Ideas Please

I'm building a 36 Ford Coupe and would like to use some things from other years ending in "6"...For instance may be 46, 56, 66, 76, 86, 96,06...Got any ideas as to what would work...Nothing radical, but very subtle stuff...steering wheel, knobs, tail lights, etc.....All ideas are welcome....One of my frustrations has been just finding pictures of parts from the past....

hidden gas filler neck ('56 chevy), Brass trim (1916 Model T), an 8-track player (1976 anything), a 2.5 chrysler 4-cylinder engine from a 1986 K-car, and spinner wheels, TV, and Xbox with full surround sound system from a 2006 "pimp my ride" aftermarket supplier.

~just ideas... take what you will

56 Chevy filler neck

Not sure what your suggesting, unless your suggesting a 56 Chevy tail light assembly,,,The gauge cluster may work better

I like the 66 mustang tail light assembly idea...although this will require some body work, that I may not be up for.....The four banger is out,,,,I'll go with an 86 SSBC....I'll take you up on an 06 dvd, xbox player...

What about a 46 sterring whee.....

Carnut Dreaming of an Overhaul

Thanks for the feedback....After a year of dismantling and just now painting my frame, I somehow wish I could get Overhauled.

I literally eat and sleep with car magazines and at 60 wonder about building a car that will outlast the builder.

Oh well, it's all about the build I guess....I haven't even finished the first one and I'm already thinking of a duece roadster..

How does one get their mind off cars?

Usually a few intimate hours with my girl does it for me...

Or on weekend visitations, I take my daughter to the park or the movies...

Car stuff DOES have it's way of invading back into the conscious mind...

Good thing both of them understand that happens.
