hi guys,does anyone know of a program i can use to change the appearance of a car using a downloaded image.i have an image of a car i am customising in its standard guise but want to see it with the modifications i wish to make;ie a 4door converted to a 2door. :thumbup:

I think what you wish to do is a bit too esoteric for a specific program. Although, there was an article in Street Rodder (?) a year or so ago that allowed you to use templates to do a limited variety of paint scemes.

I suggest Photoshop which I have, but even after taking a class at a local community college, I never mastered the program. The doorknob teaching the class had us buy two expensive books and then proceeded to read them to the class. That guy couldn't sell Vasoline at a Gay Pride Picnic.

It's been a few years since I even used the program to show me and Pam Anderson dating (just kidding) so there might well be better programs out there.

hi dugg,thanks for your input mate,maybe i'll come across someone who can do a concept drawing instead.so what was pamella like?they stopped printing pictures of her on page three of mens magazines here in oz because guys were complaing about the two large dents on the cover,now we got to go straight to the back page to catch a glimpse of her.ha ha. :drool:

You´d probably be better off using Adobe Illustrator.
With it you can do stuff like this and this.

No clue how he does this stuff...but he is the guy to ask what to use.
