Desk top dyno question please
Guess its my turn for a question here.
Started putting together my sons 400 tonight and we're wondering what it might end up putting out. Here's the specs. .030over 400 stock 400 crank 350, 5.7 rods Keith Black hypers 9.1 comp ratio Pro topline heads: 200cc intake runners 64cc chambers 2.02, 1.60 valves quinch set to .045 Camshaft, Comp roller: Intake duration, 230@.050 Exhaust duration 236@.050 Advertised duration, 282@.006 Lift, .510 both valves Seperation 110 Comp roller lifters Crane roller rockers Intake: Edelbrock performer carb: modified q-jet 750 Stock HEI dist Modified Turbo 400, stock converter 411 gears.

Wrencher,, thanks for the reply, we appreciate it. My son was hoping for more hp, but its basically just a really high dollar slightly over stock engine. Should run good though.

10-1 would put ya at 414@5500. 437 w/o muffler

the machine shop is real concerned on pinging here in PHx. It gets really HOT here in the summers. Plus, we don't want to have to run premium if we can help it.
I"ll be getting my 350 going as soon as the 400 is done. Would you mind running my numbers for me? If you can, thanks. .030 over 350 stock stroke and rods Speedpro coated hypers, 9.0 cr Quinch set @.045 ( hopefully) Heads are cast chevy '882, '76cc 1.94, 1.5 stainless runner cc unknown Crane cam, hyd ( non-roller) 216@.05 both lobes adv dur. 272 seperation 110 gross lift .454 Crane full roller rockers Edelbrock performer intake and 750 q-jet stock HEI with Crane coil 350 auto, 3.41 gears.
