350 small block chevy bored .030 over=355
first with a melling mtc-1 camshaft,
then a comp cams xtreme energy 268 camshaft,12-235-2 Comp Cam. Here are the specs: 210/218 at .050" and .447/.462 lift with a 110 LSA and a 106 centerline.
9:1 compression
650 cfm edelbrock performer carb
edelbrock performer intake
i am wanting the motor to be for low-end torque, please desktop dyno it,
also if you have any suggestions for the camshaft, (i was told by a comp-cams tech on another forum that, that cam was the best for low-end torque )

I used much the same profile from comp, crane and sig erson to build torque motors for daily drivers and pick ups.

I also liked to use the 4* advance key on the crank timing sprocket. By advancing the cam you will increase low speed performance and not really bother overall performance. A side benefit is usually higher vacuum which makes tuning easier.

I usually could get solid power to 5500 rpm from the engines if I pushed them.

If your screen name reflects the vehicle it is going into, you will like the smooth power your combination should make.
