desoto brakes

Can any one help? have a 47 desoto with original rear end and im trying to remove rear brake drums. i have removed split pin and nut and slackened off tensioners but drums wouldnt come of, ive tryed heating up and used a hub puller with a sliding hammer but to no use, does anyone have any ideas on how to remove the drums?
