slide your yoke into rear of transmission,leave 1 inch before yoke bottoms out on output shaft. take a measurement from center of front u-joint on yoke to center of u-joint at rearend. you can double check this by calling your local 4x4 shop because they have drivelines made up on daily basis. good luck

I recently had a driveshaft made for me by Denny's Driveshaft. Google for their web site. They have complete instructions on how to measure for their product. I was very satisfied with the unit I received and it fit perfectly.
