Detroit area newb rodder needs help ?
I am looking for someone that has experience adapting old truck bodies to newer 1/2 ton truck chassis's. I have a 48 Diamond T I want to put on a '79 Dodge powerwagon chassis , I have the cab & front end sitting on the chassis now and am having trouble deciding what the best way to go is in mounting the 48' iron. Do I relocate the rad, alt, PS... or the front axle and all that goes with it???
If you have done something along these lines before and can help me with figureing the best course to take I'd gladly supply the beer and burgers for a few hours of your time. I live in West Bloomfield, Mi. Here is a link to my Journal and project thread. http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/jou...journalid=44908 http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/old...tina-95088.html Jay |
