What year is the jeep? Id try and get one that is a Code reader as well as an engine reader that will give you sensor information as well. Autozone as well as other stores have these. Look at the back about their functions.

Get a scanner not a reader, live data is much more useful. I have a cheap one for my Ford made by Equus, not a lot of fancy functions but it works well.

It's saved me the cost of the scanner a few times over already, honestly I don't know how I got along without one before.

Thumbs up Scanner dude!

Chuck is right... Don't waste your money on a reader, get a scanner!

I have the AutoXray EZ-link propack. Works grrreat!

This place had a pretty good price!
