Diamond pleated velour

I talked to Butch Watson this morning. First of all, I want to apologize to all the characters in this fiasco, including the moderators, for creating this sh it storm by questioning the existence of pre-pleated velour fabric.

Sometimes I see evil where there is none, and I pulled the trigger on this one way too quick. What I saw looked to me to be a plot to advertise H&R fabrics and Butch's business. I searched the internet, and also checked out the H&R web site, and could not find any mention of pre-pleated velour fabric. This has turned out to be not the case, so I apologize to JeffB and also to Butch. I will lift the ban on Butch and delete his second user name, cappie.

I am going to try and get a picture of this fabric and post it here.

Once again, I apologize to Butch. He's just an honest businessman trying to make a living. He and I have talked like two adults, and there are no hard feelings. Please post some pictures of what you're using this fabric for.

Butch: You can list your web site in your profile and refer people to it in your posts, but you can't list your web site in the tech forums.

Dan

Here are the pictures that H&R fabrics sent to me. They are a little bright for my taste, but there are definitely uses for these fabrics.

My wife and I have purchased many items from H&R Sales over the years. My wife was into interior work and some furniture repair for several years.

Very helpful staff at H&R and the place is packed with hard to find items

Thanks Dan

It takes a good man to admit a mistake and apologize. With that being said I would like to offer my apology to Dan and everyone involved also. I really came unglued and said things that didn't need to be said to a lot of people when in my eyes I was wronged. After a very rough start in a phone conversation with Dan yesterday we were able to talk like two grown men. Dan then showed what kind of man he is by going out of his way to right a wrong. Thanks again this is a great site and I hope to be around awhile.

Saddle Bag Liners

Dan you are right the colors available are bright. I am going to make saddle bag liners out of it. The wild colors will be great to go with all the crazy paint jobs people are putting on their bikes. I will be sure to post some pics when I get the first ones made. So far I have just ordered the silver and the black. Shipping on 24 yards was $117 from Phoenix because of the bulk, so if anyone finds this material available closer to the east coast please let me know.
