Diamond In The Rough?
I found this 1969 Chevelle and contacted the seller.He said that the car had a 10 Bolt Limited Slip Rear,Minor Rust on Front Right Fender and 1 spot around windhshield,floorboards and trunk floor solid,1995 Crate DZ 350 Engine pumping 345hp,Turbo 400 w/ Shift Kit,6" Cowl Induction Hood,New Interior,4 year old paint.He wants $4500.I haven't tried to get him to come down.I think that it's a Diamond In The Rough because Nada says that in new condition w/ a 350..it'll be worth over $50,000.What do you guys think??

I read his ad....there is NO DZ crate engine. There is a ZZZ, a ZZ1, a ZZ2, a ZZ3, a ZZ4 and a ZZ430. DZ is the code on a 1969 Z28 302 engine. A real DZ 69 Z28 engine would be worth the asking price of the complete car. Unless the car is close to you so you could inspect it VERY closely.......... PASS....... .

Maybe it's the ZZ4.I believe the car is in good condition.I will get some more info on it though.I might can get him to come down some also.

$50,000, you sure bout that? Or was that a misprint? I can't see $50,000. Maybe a absolutely mint big block car with some rare options. Not a non-numbers matching 350 car, or even a #'s small block car mint couldn't be worth that much.

I like it. You can always get more information from the owner and verify what engine it has. Is this a restoration project?

Well,I contacted the seller again and he said that he would take $4000 for it.I think that I'm going to get it for that price.That's a pretty good deal I believe.What do you think?He said that I have a 30-Day Money Back Quarntee on it to approve on it's condition.Hey,power steering and air conditioning...can't beat that!It is a ZZ crate motor.
