Diecast model paint preparation help?
Hope it's OK to post this thread here. I have purchased a 1/18 scale die cast model of my 1953 Suburban. I would like to spray it with a paint to match the color going on my 1953 Suburban project. Masking the tiny emblems and moldings is my challenge. Is there a special tape or a masking cream or something for protecting the tiny door handles and stuff? Has anyone had experience painting small die cast? Your help is appreciated.

I think that I would paint over them and then touch them up with some silver model paint. Testors model paints have some silver that almost looks like chrome.
