Do any of you know of good dodge cummins diesel sites? What do you prefer 1st 2nd 3rd gens 12 or 24 valves. Strengths and weeknesses on all. thanks for the help

Find yourself a 1994-97 Dodge truck they came with the inline pump. Much better than the older VE pumps, I havent had any experience with 24 valve engine.
Common problems are related to front cover its kind of flimsy for all the stuff they hung off it. If bracing for pump isnt tightened down correctly can cause it to crack. If the air compressor or pump brackets come loose same thing. Ive read about the killer dowel pin deal but never seen one I think its much ado about nothing. I have seen crankshaft gear rotate on snout though that makes a big mess. They are easy to work on.
