Difference between Smith AW1A and AW10A torches

Is there any substantial difference as far as results between the Smith AW1a and AW10A torches? I know the 1A uses the smaller fittings and the 10A uses the larger fittings, and the controls are in different places, but they both appear to use the same tips. I'm looking to weld aluminum with it.
