Different size output shaft on c4?
Are there different size output shafts for a c4. The reason i am asking is I just had a c4 built by GER and I have everything installed, but when I went to put the drive line on it would not slide over the splines of the output shaft. I know there are different input shaft spline counts for different years but i have never heard of different size/spline for the output shafts.

There are different lengths. The truck C4 has an output shaft about 6" or 7" shorter then the car C4's, and yokes for the truck C4 are bolt-on and may indeed be a different spline setup. Was your vehicle originally running a C4? If it was running a manual 3 speed, it won't fit.
