We have a '67 Chevy Pickup and my boyfriend is wanting to put a new differential in. He wants to go from 5 lug to 6 lug and he is not sure if this will work. Can someone please help us with this question?

67's came with 6-lug. Many people with 6-lug want to change to 5-lug. If he could find one of those people, he could just swap with them.

It's definatly possible. My question is why? My brother has a 69 with a 6 lug, but he wanted to switch to 5 because he couldn't find any rims he liked that were made in 6 lug. But in the last year, a lot has changed and he doesn't have that problem now. If you change the back, you should change the front too. That's a pretty simple change though (change of a rotor). The only reason I'm concerned is because I feel it's not necessary, and he could use the money he would of spent on the conversion on something else.
