As dumb as this may sound...I'm trying to cobble together a SS pickup truck...they are going for around $10,000 and the driveline is just a 454 (230hp) mated with a TH400 and 3.73 gears in the rear...bilstein shocks, bucket seats, the SS logos etc. I just snagged an 89 1 ton with 454 / TH400...I'd just like to turn it into a fun truck to drive around town without getting TOO ambitious. i've gotten TOO ambitious before and ended up with a truck that was in 1000 pieces.
