Post Ding

My 69' Camaro has a small ding in the trunk about the size of a nickel that you can see at the right angle. Can these be pulled up easily at the right shop? What do they use, suction or a magnet or something?

IF THERE IS NO BRACING UNDER THE DING, THE BES WAY TO GET IT OUT IS W/ A ROD SPECIALLY MADE FOR DOING THIS. I HAVE YET TO SEE A MAGNET OR SUCTION CUP THAT WOULD PRODUCE A CLEAN LOOK. HOPEFULLY YOU HAVE SOMEONE IN YOUR AREA TO DO THIS, JUST MAKE SURE YOU SEE HIS WORK BEFORE YOU LET HIM HAVE IT. I HAVE SEEN SOME BAD RESULTS W/ A RUSH JOB..

If that's your 59 in your avatar, I would consider living with that ding. that's a nice car, the trunk lid will probably have to be repainted, I'd be worried about matching the color. Dan

See one of the dent wizards. They are just about in every town nowadays. They are the ones that removes dents from hail damage. They should be able to get it out without breaking the paint.
