dipstick tube

Can someone tell me how to remove this tube from the block of 65 327? I've tried pulling it out by hand and prying on the lip with a screwdriver but can't get it to budge. It appears as if it just presses in because there isn't any type of fastener holding it in. I'm afraid if I put to much pressure I might break it, I need to get it out to install a set of headers.

Thanks

Broken off more of those than I care to mention.....spray some penetrating oil around it and wiggle it gently.
