Disabled Hot Rodder
I am 60 years old and I still remember the hot rod days of the 60's. I am disabled now and unemployed. I am on social security disablility. Which means no extra funds to finish my project. I am restoring a 1963 Chevrolet C-10 stepside with origional 235 cu. inch. straight 6cyl and manual 3 spd on the column. It was my father's truck and I have the origional bill of sale, the check he paid for it with, and the origional tag receipt. I have rebuilt the engine, rebuilt clutch and pressure plate, and installed a rebuilt 3 spd. transmission. I have rebuilt the seats and installed origional style covers. What I need is help acquiring the floors panels that are rusted out, the busted windshield, and the rusted and banged up rear fenders. I have made and installed a wood bed floor and it turned out fine. I have my air comressor and spray gun and I plan to sand it down and repaint it to the origional color. I have done all the work my self. If anyone can send me any old parts that are useable, I would appreciate it.
