Disc brake brackets for Ford 9"

Hi guys,
I am thinking of putting a 9" I have lying around in my '72 Cutlass instead of upgrading the 10-bolt currently in it, which has terrible gears (2.73?) and an open diff.

I am upgrading the drum front brakes to 12" rotors and correspondingly I would like to put discs on the rear as well. Currie will be the source for the suspension brackets, and I have 31-spline trac-loc chunk with 3.50 gears.

But, I really need caliper brackets. I have found apparently a bazillion disc brake kits, but I don't see the need to buy a several hundred dollar kit for cheap, junkyard parts. I guess I could fab the brackets myself, but I would rather save some time. I also don't mind welding on new housing ends, if you have a recommendation that would make the disc retrofit easier.

Give me some direction!!!

I got these brackets water-jet cut for $40.00 (2 pair). They put a C4 'Vette front rotor on a Ford 9" with small bearing ends. As you can see, there is minimal spacing misalignment that was taken care of with some 0.070" spacers.

I'd do it again, but using the correct rotors & calipers - I'm having to run a dual M/C setup with balance bar to get the brakes proportioned correctly. Total for the rear axle: less than $200.00 including new rotors and rebuilt calipers.
