Disc Brake Conversion for 14 bolt semi floating axle
I never have any luck with drum brakes, and since i do alot of towing with my 96 suburban, i'd like to have disc brakes. It has a 14 bolt semi floating (9.5") axle. There are lots of disc brake kits for 14 bolt full floating axles, but i havent found any for the semi floaters. I know they exist but I cant find them.
I really just want the BOLT ON brackets to bolt the calipers onto, I can get the rest of the parts myself alot cheaper. Can anyone help? I would use the weld on brackets (those will probably fit either axle) but the only welder I have is an old crappy craftsman welder that doesnt work very well since I can only run it off a generator (no 220v access close by and the generator has a hard time running this welder) Can anyone help ?
