disc brake conversion 29 pontiac

Does anyone know if the spindles on a 29 pontiac straight axle are the same as a 28-29 chevrolet? I am trying to do a disc brake conversion and no one lists this car...imagine that.
Thanks

Try Master Power Brakes in N. Carolina. They might be able to help. The catalog that I have says they will make a custom conversion kit for almost any classic car. It is an older catalog so you might need to call to see if they still do that. check their website for the phone #.

Pontiac disc brakes

Through some thorough investigation I discovered that the only difference between a 29 Pontiac and a 32 Chevrolet was the backing plate bolts are .120" further apart. A ECI conversion kit worked wonderfully with a little milling on the front bolt holes. They are great to work with and helped me after going back and forth with specs. I would highly recommend them to anyone converting to disc brakes.
