Disc brake conversion kit

I just bought a 70 Chevelle. It has drum brakes all the way around the car. I want to install a disc brake conversion kit , but I am leery about aftermarket parts.

I was thinking about installing on just the front, but will consider front and rear wheel disc brakes.

What are your suggestions?

Can anyone tell me of a high quality conversion kit?

Thanking you in advance.

re: Disc brake conversion kit

scarebird http://www.scarebird.com/12802/14301.html has a bracket to convert the fronts. Sets it up for stock over the counter chevy parts. (new or used)

I did a 4 wheel disk brake swap on my Buick Skylark. 12" fronts along with a spindle conversion, the 10.5 rears from a camaro. I'm still debugging it, it doesn't seem to have excess rear stopping power. The brakes are working, but still I think I should have more....

Even with the present debugging, I'm glad I did the swap.
