disc brakes for 1968 ford galaxie

Does anybody know if I can take disc brakes from, lets say a Mustang and make them work in a 1968 Ford Galaxie? I got drum brakes front and rear, 9" rear, and I am trying to do this on a budget. I know it's a lot easier to just call and order a kit from a good aftermarket company, but I am trying to save some money. I am looking to install disc brakes in the front and rear. Thanks.

Arrow

  • Front Disc Changeover;

    Any 1967/1973 Full size Galaxy/LTD equipped with factory disc.

    1973/1979 Intermediate (TORINO-MONTEGO-BIRD-LTD II) with accompaning spindles.
  • Rear Disc Changeover

    -Rear Disc Adaptor Kit-

    I prefer the LINCOLN MARK VII rear disc over the EXPLORER.

Don't forget a dual disc master cylinder and proportioning valve.
