Disk Brake Conversion for 1947 Dodge 1/2 ton pickup front axle

Hello fellow rodders,
My name is Leonard Egan and I live in Holland, Ohio. I have a 1930 Plymouth Business Coupe Streetrod that I have been building since the late 1970's. It is equipped with a 1947 Dodge 1/2 ton pickup truck fron axle and drum brakes. I am exploring the idea of making a conversion to front disk brakes using the Dodge front axle and hubs. I have not located an aftermarket kit for a 1947 Dodge PU. Is there anyone out there with any experience with this conversion or can you give me any tips on which way to go with this possible brake change.
As my old mechanic once told me, "Your car does not have to go, but it does have to stop!"
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give me.
Leonard Egan

Leonard,
I'm just a green as you on here but have seen many questions similar to yours.

I pulled these links from my own reference sheet of sites that have been passed here on the forum. Hope this helps.
