Disk Brakes for 3/4 ton 1966 Chevy P.U.

Hello, I need some info on swapping out the front drum brakes, and replacing them with disk brakes. I am getting my dads old 1966 Chevy 3/4 ton P.U. (my grandfather bought it new) and would like to update the brakes. Will need the extra stopping power as the old 327 is wore out and will be replacing it with a 455 Pontiac. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Look at the very last "READ ME" thread at the top of this forum, and it covers all about disc brake conversions. There maybe even a thread on your year truck. Make sure you run a search before asking a question, or you'll get mauled since no one likes answering a question over, and over, and over, and over, well, you get what sayin....

I was trying to get my point across without being rude, and I'm sorry if I came across that way. The thing is, there's a guidline that we all had to read when we first signed up, and it's for this reason. If every new member came on here and did this, it would be very annoying.
