Disk brakes on my '72 ElDorado

My back wheels still roll with old style brakes.
Can you point me to a link where it spells out nicely
how I can revamp my back brakes to a disk system?

Thanks.

try scare bird web site

Most gm stuff can be interchanged if you can find the right pieces... later models car and truck parts I sometimes go the the locall take off your own parts wrecking yard and try switching parts to see if they fit... eg.. I put ford ranger 5 bolt axles in a 87 mustang rear and used the lincoln mark rear discs and got an 8.8 posi with 5 bolt wheels and discs for about half the price of a mustang cobra rear end.

try looking at like 76-83 cadillac eldo's and Seville's, even olds tornado's, as the build on same chassis, and you need the master cly. and proportioning valve, but i real don't see a problem using a change over from one them Cadillac's

Be aware that the 76-79 Sevilles are RWD, the later ones are FWD with hardware common to the Eldo. These later Eldo rear discs should be able to be easily adapted to the 72.
