Distributor

i have a friend with a 72 chev pickup short bed with a 350 /4 barrel engine out of a 85 chev station wagon he has a crane-cam hi-6s ignition box the distributor has 7 pins(EFI) what he want to know is after he hooks up the hi-6s to the distributor it has a wiring harness from the module with 4 pins can he unplug it or just leave it alone the crane-cam hi-6s came off a 87 chev

the extra 4 pins is the EST/ESC 7 pin module style stuff

two of those wires on the 4 pin flat plug need jumped together

i always forget which two ones

someone here will remember,

i always forget..

the EST distribs have advance weights and vacuum advance both,

contrary to what most ppl think believe

which three wires has to be jump together brown/black ,pink,yellow and he said it had to be a 7pin distributor that is what the teach guy said with and i have heard the no vacum distributor is better
