distributor cap knocking
What would cause knocking from inside a msd distributor cap, does not do it at idle. motor is a gen. v with 781 heads and a 554 lift cam. can someone help figure this out?

Either the cap is not fully seated, or it is the rotor is not seated. Check these things .JMO How old is the distributer ? It could be shaft play as well or just worn.JMO
