Distributor Machine

Anyone ever try to build a distributor calibration machine?

Distributer Machine........

Short answer,NO,why RE-INVENT the wheel???there should be many used dist machines for sale on Flea-bay,or craigslist.

My brother has one like this and has had a number of them over the years. He gets offered one for free and he takes it, if it's better than the one he has he sells off the old one. Honestly as I remember he has gotten a bunch of them for free or close.

Distributor Machine

I guess the idea struct me because I like the challenge of building things. Also, you see examples on this site all the time of people building tools and other things that are available commercially. To me, it's part of the fun.

build somethiing. !

My son bought a GM diag machine for $20 at an excess inventory sale at a high school. donated to the school and not needed. We have built stuff that we can not find used at a good price. Flame cutter that follows our wood templates, Overhead cantry crane, rotisserie, bending dies, We have pieces to build a louver press and a 15 foot chassis jig made from a high stack forklift from Apple computer, they scrapped it when the batteries got bad because it was too tall to go thru their warehouse doors
