im building a 406 right now and im on my way to have the block shaved but i need to know something first. say i was trying to get .030 clearance between my heads and the piston-do i include the comressed thickness of my head gasket into the equation? i know it sounds like a dumb question but i really want to make sure before i have the block shaved-after all-once the metal is gone it cant be put back on.
