do u use line lock with a trans brake?

I am looking to find out what I need to drag race my mustang is there some one out there that would be able to tell me what is a good set up

Yes, you use the line lock for the burnout and the trans brake to hold it on the line.

thanks I have a line lock set up I jut need to install it and I am looking to git a trans brake set up or a trans with one in it I have been looking at summit's web site. but if you know of a place that has them at a good price let me know thanks

I think it is a c4 it is a 3 speed auto but I do not know for shure I am new to the auto tran's I all way's had stick's. I would like to try to find out what gear's the rear end has in it is there a way to figure it out? counting teeth or numbers on the gear's ? I have not had the cover off yet but it has some big tires on it 26/11.5/15 mickey thompson ET streets

be advised the trans must be properly set up for trans brake use. Each trans and transbrake manufacturer may require different setup. Some are simple , others are not
