And it was a Moving Violation not a night in jail & pollitcaly incorrect.
I Remember my freind getting a new set of L~60's on the back of his Chevelle & the 1st thing he said was . . . WANNA HEAR HOW THEY SOUND?

I dunno how many nights in jail it woulda been...but I remeber once being told "That car ain't got no balls".
So my 18yr old mind set the line lock and did a burnout in the parking lot of a Dunkin Donuts were my freind worked, till I dug two pits in the pavement.I drove down the street and turned around(with smoke still belowing outta the trunk)and there was so much smoke that cars on the street couldn't see and were stopping. Was told all you could see was a wall of white smoke threw all the glass front of the building.LOL |

I live in a SMALL town with one 4 way stop where two main highways intersect and the railroad crossed one highway a block away. When we were kids one of our friends had a high dollar stop watch he wanted to try out so one sleepy Autumn Sunday afternoon we held an improptu time trail to see who was the quickest from the stop sign to the railroad tracks. This went on for about an hour, no cops anywhere! The town cop only lived a couple blocks away but he worked 3rd shift so we knew he was asleep. Well he was asleep until one kid went home and uncorked the headers on his 442. He made one pass and went around the block right past the cops house who was now coming down the sidewalk WIDE awake, keys in hand and NOT a happy little camper!
I don't think I need to go into detail, the rest of us scattered!

only to be shocked by the fire trucks and police when they show up to put the building they think is on fire out. then you want to crawl in a hole when the loser points a finger at you . |

Hey I got one . A buddy of mine put a Buick 350 in a 79 Regal about 15 years ago. We got some old tires and went in front of our high school when class was letting out and did this huge one legger smoke show . When he finally let go the car was crooked and nailed a curb, he just stood in it and we kept going and took off. Next day- detentions and we were told if that dummy hadn't hit the curb they never would have known it was us, they couldnt see us!

Do you remember
I remember my chevy truck with a built 406,and my buddy goading me to lite it up. So I preceeded to go all the way around the square smoken' off. I parked it only to have a town clown roar up and yell " who the h*** did that burnout!" To which I replyed " That greek kid with the red mustang!" He sped off and we had a big yuk! The next day "the greek kid", another buddy, came to see me at the part store I worked at. " thanks alot *******" He and the cop and his mother stood in the drive way for 20 mins. with him getting dress down for "His burnout!" And being my truck was a chevy the pavement wished for a pontiac!
