No, there origin is European but they come from further North.

Reject ice cream cones,guess you could make ice cream taquitos Further North? lutefisk/lefse rollups? Yumm!!

You can use them as ice cream cones. You have the right region with the lefse which we do enjoy on special occasions but I have never tasted lutefisk.

Growing up in Minnesota with Norwegian relatives lutefisk and lefse came to me at an early age,I recently bought some lutefisk here in Phoenix the wife says I have to eat it outside next time.This will educate you on the joys of this tasty dish:

I was introduced to Scandinavian cuisine when I started going with my wife. I got to sample all manner of tasty dishes at special occasions. But I do believe there is a good reason why I'm still lutefisk ignorant.

Krumkaka is yummy! My wife has one of the Krumkaka irons that go over a stove burner. If there are many people around when she makes them a lot of them do not survive long.
