Do you think it will leak

I just broke a oil pan bolt. (SBC 400) Around the center of the pan just behind the motor mount. (Torque 12lbs). just wondering if i should tear it apart to fix it or go with it, all other bolts are fine. what do you guys think.
and i did RTV the gasket

I would be much more worried if it was on the corner bolts....I would take a chance on it....................

I agree, run it and see first. Next time, use grade 8 hardware, available at any True Value hardware.

have you tried getting it out? Its amazing how easy it is to get some of those things out with the right twist bit.

i got the same prob with my 70 el camino its not the corner bolt but its one over. im not havein any leakin probs. just make sure you use a good amount of hi temp gasket sealer. i dont think you will have any probs. im not and i changed my gasket about 3 weeks ago ive been keepin an eye on it jsut to see if it does leak but it hasent yet.
