re: DOCVETTE HAS PASSED AWAY.....................

Stunned. He was such a rock solid presence, I expected him to be here forever. Answered my questions over and over till I finally got it.
Thanks Doc, we'll miss you,

I actually was cleaning up my engine bay in my car to show off to Doc how I had "cleaned up" the bad wiring in my Galaxie. One of those things that you shouldn't have put off, I guess.

Doc was my favorite on here. Knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and with an undying sense of humor and humility.

God bless him.

Like most other people, I was always drawn to Doc's post for the shear quality and quantity of information that was there.
He was and always will be a great person

DocVette

Doc was the most helpful person I met on the site. We were both fighting a fatal illness, so I guess thats why he was so patient with me when I couldn't get what he was telling me to do. I will miss him greatly, til we meet again Doc. My sympathy to his family, Crash

My condolences to all concerned,Had'nt known him all that long but sure was a pleasure reading his replies while helping many people on this site.
I had the pleasure of learning from him and a few laughs about him hunting the 'wabbit'.

Doc

Hat off to 1 great guy. I don't know if I'm a poor speller or bad typer. Doc chastised me for not using the spelling checker. But you know , he answered my question perfectly. See you in the future Doc.

Doc, He'd helped me many times with the wiring for my el camino. I rewired my entire car with his help on this forum. A smart man with patience and wisdom, if he's not A perfect example of Virtue, I dont know what is. Thanks to you Doc!!! you are missed by many.

Man I HATE cancer. Although he was a relatively late-comer to Hotrodders, he fit in like a glove. He was the poster child for the type of person Jon is trying to attract - knowledgeable, willing to help, not antagonistic or arrogant, not profane - the perfect HotRodders.comer.
