I am a chevy guy learning new tricks and brands though. I have acquired a 59 dodge pu. Without a bed, My first choice would be a sweptside, but I also like the lines of the fleetside bed of that year. Very simple, smooth and cool. I have contacted a few guys about repop lass sweptsides, but no one knows anything about the fleetsides. any help with ideas, sources, etc. wil be of major assistance. thanks

I too am a chevy guy. I know little about dodges but I think fleet side beds were not available on those untill the 60s. I have however seen where delivery vans were cut up to build sweped side beds for trucks. I remember seing one built from a 53 ford and I know they never had a fleet side that year.
Good Luck |
