Dodge Charger sedan (that's not right) rant

Okay, here I am at dodge.com building my own dodge charger R/T (it's not RT for those who made the station wagon) and I can't delete the 8-way power driver's seat. I mean, what's wrong with pulling a lever and sliding forward or backward?

...i can't delete the dual-zone a/c, and get a modest 4-speaker sound system in place of their Caddilac style 6 speaker system. Where's the funny looking front end and big ol daytna wing that lets the world know what it is. Also, why the heck do the hood decals/paintjob say "hemi" bolder than Jesus in the second coming? Can't I opt for a straight plain flat black hood? "billboard" graphics aren't bad but it seems chrysler would have reintroduced the things how they can't go a minute without saying hemi.

ugh, don't let me rant on the new GTO, please... too far from it's roots, a GTO is not a BMW like a Charger isn't a rwd intepid.

p.s. your turn to rant

THATS WHY THERE'S A 2005 'STANG!

All dodges look the same. they blow. i'll take one of their crate hemi engines tho. i'll find something to put it in. who wants a car (charger) that looks like a wagon (magnum) that looks like a truck? did all their designers go on strike?

i'm no big ford fan either, but the new stang is just so far ahead of all the rest of american steel you can just close the doors on GM. except for the mustang, there isnt a new car i'd want that isnt made in japan (that i could afford)

Could be worse they could be in same boat as Ford and Chevy right now.. Offering employee price to everyone lol...

As for the black hood with giant hemi on it, your looking at a limited edition, Daytona R/T not the normal R/T.... It's yellow or orange ain't it.. It's not for everyone, neither was the original.

And the early daytona had a MUCH bigger wing. Which alot of people hated then also. Had you kept one of those through the last gas crisis, and kept it in decent shape, meaning not wrapping it around a tree you could sell it for quite a bit.

I'd prefer the SRT-8 Charger with the larger 425 HP hemi. Personaly I think they should have put the bigger motor in the Daytona edition. Just wish it would come with a standard instead of auto stick... I know how a clutch works thanks...

Of the recent remixes, the Mustang looks the most like the original. I'll give it that, and it's reasonably priced for what you get. GTO.... Don't even go there...
