Dodge SS/T Ram 1500

OK, Guys here it is I am looking up to you all to help here!
Type 1997 Dodge Ram SS/T, Trans 46RE, Eng 360. Now I know this is a prob with the 46RE Tranny. I had the Trans rebuilt 30 miles back and since the trans rebuild it jumps into what seems like neutral when you put the pettle to the floor to pass someone. My thing is that every transmission place wants to rebuld it.. NOT! I just paid 2700.00 to get it done. Now the truck run fine in everyday drive but comes out of gear in passing mode and not all the time is there a quick fix to this?? Also, somehow I now have a noise in the rearend a "loud hum" it is driving me nuts! Could this be bearings? U-joints seem to be fine no grit in the housing of the rearend just humming more when you have the pettle down that you do coasting!

Thanks

Might want to try posting this in the transmission-rearend section, you will probably get a better respose there. Since it was just rebuilt did you take it to the place where it was done and have them look at it to see if they messed up on something?

/\ I just came from driveline, and he did post that there... I wouldn't call it double-posting, but I think this version can be removed. By the way, welcome to HR.com. There's a lot of great people and information here, a few oddballs, and as in any large group of people, the occasional "HR.com ex-cons" who just can't seem to keep out of trouble. A few features are not up and running like normal die to upgrades and efforts to save the Aussies! (Austrailians) If you have a problem that you feel is common, please remember to use the "search" feature. Thank you.
