Does anyone want to buy a Chevy V8 motorcycle business?
I was looking around the internet for V8 powered motorcycles and I ran across this V8 motorcycle business for sale.
Thunderrod Frameless V8 Motorcycle It includes one complete 350 cubic inch V8 motorcycle. It's a good looking bike and I would bet that a 355 horsepower bike would be a wild ride. |

OOPS!~ I did not want to put this in Introduce Yourself.

Would be careful
Lots of V8 Bikes for sale now...and there's a lot of know-how on the net in free forums to make them run well...
I'd make very sure I had customers lined up before I did anything like buy a non-mainstream V8 Bike business... I'm not advertising on here, but look whats for sale in the market. Together with the 500 or so V8bikeriders forum on there to help, it hardly seems worth it to buy such a business unless you already have customers in the works or can make a profit selling the remaining inventory. I hope whoever is selling tyhe business, gets lucky and can move it, but I'd look at it real careful like. Used V8 Bike Market Cheers Aldo Last edited by poncho62; 11-14-2008 at 05:12 AM. Talk about a Gas Guzzling beast
Not a biker myself, but you probably need Iron legs and a tactical suit to ride it.
How fast do you want to be splattered into a wall or another vehicle ? ![]() Sounds like Extreme Sports to me. Besides, do you really want to pay that much at the pump ? Bad Monkey !!!Seen that TV show where they built a Motorcycle out of a full Diesel truck engine, was it Kenworth or Peterbilt ? That's extreme too. |

Not a problem
Not a problem...I put on 50,000 miles in 3 years....no need for special clothing, except, boots that cover ankles. I get 24-25 miles a gallon, which is better than my Mercedes 3.6L V6 at 18mpg. I bought the bike for 0-60mph in 2 seconds and 8.8 second quartermile, unbaffled exhaust and of course. the conversation starter aspect. I commute to work on this many days. Wet weather handling is great too with car tire.
We have guys in our club with 150,000 miles on these in 6 years. The new LS3 has valve cover chrome covers you can touch with your bare hands. There are efficient heat shields on the headers so you dont burn the legs. They've been building these for almost 19 years...most of the bugs ironed out, except of course "operator error". Still a Wild Ride indeed
I've seen the dual V8 engines racer bikes about I don't know how many years back, so yeah I am aware they did exist. What's the total weight on it ?
Only 8.8 quarter mile ? I thought they'd do better, excuse my ignorance. Wonder what they can stuff under a trike, a V-12 maybe ? whoa |
