Does converter slip more with low gears?

For 1/4 mile, I'm swapping my 3.0 gears for 4.11s. My converter slippage is 3%-7% with the 3.0s. Will the percent of slip change with the 4.11s? I would think it might be tighter.

Ya the converter efficiency will improve. The driving impression will be much better too, especially if its a 3000+stall converter.

A lower gear (higher number) will slip less because it's easier to turn. The only way to tell what % is to run with a drive shaft/engine rpm data logger.
