Does interior matter?
I find to myself anyway that interior of a car is not overly important. As long as the necessary guages are there, some adequite seating and carpeting exist, thats about all I want. It doesn't have to be in top condition, a rip here a missing part there doesn't bother me. The outside is another matter.
One of the coolest cars I was ever in was a 69 Firebird with enormous power under the hood and looked fabulous outside. Inside was sun faded carpet, torn seats one interior door panel missing with a pair of vise grips to roll the window up and down. When the monster was idlingyou better have everything stowed or it would be on the floor, when she was letting rip the rear view mirrors reflected a 10 on the rictor scale. The buzzzing in the ears from the engine noise took a couple of hours to reside, and the smile on your face during and after the flight would not leave easily. In fact I guess my feeling is if its too finished You can't play with it  P.S. This is not intended to knck anyone who does like interior perfection, I'm just wondering if i'm a oddddball

I was gonna put carpet in my Nova once. I decided I liked being able to sweep the floor better than having to vacuum it.

My opinion is that interior matters. I think if you're gonna put all this money in the vehicle to make the engine/body/etc... perfect, then the interior should look good too. Even if it's not perfect, that is cool, but I would stay away from the vise grips for the window crank though!
 CL, are you hauling "whacked individuals" in your vehicle, bro? What are we hosing off and draining? Are you cruising around with Joe Pesci or something?Toss 'em in the trunk! Rock on... Seņor

Yah a nice interior is good but a bad one isnt something im gonna worry about. there is this guy in town who has a blown corvette. Out side is real nice and everything chrome all over the engine,big blower, 2 chrome carbs the whole works. Then you look inside and all the seats are torn up and the carpets ripped up. It just makes me giggle.

I was laughing at them too, until my engine blew. Now I need a big bottle of glue, to fix my boo-boo. Until then I will be blue.
