Back when i was a teen which wasnt too long ago you could buy old muscle cars and hot rods all day long for a few hundred bucks. I remember once i looked at a 69 Roadrunner. It was in mint condition for 400 bucks, but the tranny was bad. I remember telling the kid he was nuts for asking 400 bucks for a car with a bad tranny... Now i kick myself everytime i think about it
Its hard to find a decent car for a reasonable price nowadays, People want thousands of dollers for rustbuckets and justify the price by saying its a " Muscle car" or Its a " Classic".
Its no wonder thats kids today look to imports. There cheap, Mostly reliable and a lot cheaper to insure.
My dad laughed at me when i jacked the *** end of my car up and put the biggest widest tires on the back of it. It was the fad when i was a teen, For my dad it was to lower the back until it dragged the ground.
My point is times change and fads change. I dont like my kids civic with the big wing and the coffee can exaust tip just as my dad didnt like the back of my car being two feet off the ground
