Had a little party in the shop the other night, after I got my new heads all torqued down. One of my best buds showed up with a nice cold half rack of long neck Corrona's. After a couple I figured what the hey... Let's just hook up the remote starter, drop in the push rods, hang the rockers and adjust the valves. I put the fuel line in one of those empty clear longnecks to catch the gas while we bumped it over. It fill up about 3/4 of the way so I put it on the bench and grabbed another empty.. WRONG THING TO DO! Gas looks just like beer in them dang clear bottles! JB said It took half an anchovia pizza just to get the taste out of his mouth.
Hey Willys, we didn't get it runnin' till the next day. With a little fine tuning, the five three runs stronger then ever - I'm lovin' those Tourqer heads. Good cheap brand new, cast iron horsepower, fursure.
Dinger, lol. It was already premium. Toss in a little Cuervo and We'de a had Napalm or worse yet, A bio-illogical weapon!

Actually you can make napalm using styrofoam(lots of it) and regular gasoline....The gaoline melts the styrofoam and with enough styrofoam it will turn into a gel.Just a tip for you pyromaniacs ..Steve
No I didn't. <chuckle> We ran out of beer before we hung the manifold and carburator. That's why I needed the beer bottle to catch the gas the fuel line put out while I was bumping it over to adjust the valves.
I used what gas was left in that long neck to prime the carb. I had to crank it a bit to make the darn thing pop... Musta been JB's drool back. <img src="graemlins/drool.gif" border="0" alt="[drool]" />
