Im looking to put door actuators in my 40 buick. Im using the origional latches. My question is will a 35lb actuator open my door? Also looking to help in what is a good one to buy and what remotes are good.

They won't work with the old style(have to move handle and latch) slider latches. Think about using power windows for access if you want to use the original latches. Otherwise go to Bearpaw latches.
