Door art for my truck
I have been helping my uncle build a rat rod and he has added some seriously cool "door art" of a shrunken head....and this got me thinking...
I plan to go with a ratord style look for my 82 s10 and decided to play around with a few different ideas. Since my truck is a frankenstien of sorts (many different scavenged parts) and since I love old monster movies, i decided on a frankenstien motif. So...here it is in progress.... What do you guys think?

Love it!!!!!!!!! Great idea and graphic. Just hope you don't end up with all the monsters around trying to get you to do work for them.

I like how the background looks like a moon. Helps look like a creature of the night.

thanks guys...I appreciate it.
I will probably tweak it a bit more before I am completely satisfied. Not so sure about how the green will look with the black and gray primer 2 tone....

Be aware with testors paints that in direct sun it will fade and look like crap within 5 months, a friend of mine that just started freehand pinstriping started with the testors paints just to learn the brush strokes, he left his work outside just to see how long it lasted....5 months
 he has scince switched to a rustoleum and its lasting indefinatly....

wow, i have been using testors,pactra and other brands for my murals for over 20 years right now my oldest mural is 7 years old my tattoos have faded more than my work.so where to start lets not worry about saving money. house of kolor makes a lime time green big $,looks hot but without a good clear coat that will fade just as fast. if the guy is going to do somthing with his father i am just trying to save him a little extra cash. but it seams you are not helping anybody im sure the guy just cant wait to finish it just so he can park it out side for five months to see how crappy it gets.as i said in my first thread im here to help.this is the second scolding ive gotten since i have logged on if you meat heads just sit around waiting for somone to say somthing you are not helping your just slapping your jawls. you are the kind of people i hate being around hopfully the keeper of this sight will see this and kick me off. so ram it up your wha-zoo psychotrybe OUT! 5 whole months,WOW

do I sense some hostility?
 get off it man, they are just ideas and individual experiences, no one is putting a gun against your head and telling you you cant use testors...BTW your tats are fading, you may wanna get that squared away
